About This Project:

Project Description
The AAP conference is our opportunity to be in front of more pediatricians at one time than any other event all year long. We raise awareness by asking a simple question: if they were aware that drowning kills more infants (0 to 4) every year than anything else? And then we educate with or pamphlets and website information.
We don't sell anything. We share information. if they currently have a drowning prevention program we help them strengthen it. I f they don't we share our Parents Preventing Childhood Drowning information and they are all set.
Seems simple but it's an expensive few days and its important for our year. We appreciate your help in making it a reality
Project Needs
The AAP conference fee is about $2,500.00 to attend. Then there are the costs of electricity, a carpet etc... They do know how to make their money - But for an opportunity to be in front of the top pediatricians in the country it's worth the effort.
Project Schedule
October 25-29 in New Orleans for the 2019 National Conference & Exhibition!
We will be there from set up to take down. We have volunteers driving in from Texas, Florida and across the country to help spread the word.
Project Beneficiaries
The benefits of being at the AAP conference compound over the year as our message is shared with pediatricians from all across the country and then they share our information with their staff and their patients throughout the year.
if one child is saved we all win and together we can reach our goal to end infant drowning!
