High Impact Donors
What are High Impact Donors?

Sure, dollars matter. Yet at the end of the day, it`s your impact that counts. Want to make an impact ? We're here to help.

That`s why we provide free tools like direct email and Peer2Peer pages as well as Paid Project Pages and Corporate Sponsorship to help donors spread the word about their favorite projects and charities.

1. Donate what ever amount you want to your favorite projects.

2. Spread the word. Use your free or sponsored impact tools to share the project link or personalize it to share with friends, family and business contacts.

The first dots are your contacts who donate, the second dots are their contacts and so on... for the life of the project!

3. Watch your impact spread across the map dot by dot...

I founded SSF with a vision of reaching our community to end the childhood drowning epidemic. Listening to a family share their story of losing a child is something I never want to endure again.

Project Description

Our goal is to reach as many families in need as possible with scholarship funds. We have been fundraising since 2010 and providing families as best as we can. Our largest accomplishment to date was a grant through the Department of Health for $5000. Through this grant and other fundraising projects we were able to provide several families with 100% funding of survival type lessons. This meant we were able to reach families and skill children who otherwise had no financial means of obtaining lessons. A child who knows how to save himself in an aquatic environment is a child who survives! This is the difference between life and death.

Project Needs

Funds raised go directly to pay for survival type swim lessons. Families apply through the scholarship program (www.swimsafeforever.org/scholarships). A scholarship committee reviews each scholarship application and determines the amount of financial support that family qualifies for and if funds are available. The Scholarship Committee Chairmen gives the final approval/denial. SSF also has a very thorough application process for instructors. This ensures that each child receives lessons that actually provide survival type training from a competent instructor.

Project Schedule

This is an ongoing project. We provide lessons year round and our heavy season is April through October.

Project Beneficiaries

The children directly benefit from your donation! Your donation will save a child's life! Children of the ages 6 months and up can learn how to save themselves should they find themselves in a body of water alone. The difference between life and death is only 2 inches. If a child knows how to roll on their back and float they can survive an aquatic emergency!
