Our school is working with Play With Heart to make our school community Heart Smart! We are raising awareness about the importance of youth cardiac screenings and to get training for our own (AED) Automated External Defibrillator!

Former Fire/Medic, President/Founder of HeartSmart, Inc. in 1989 providing emergency training. Formed Play With Heart in 2005 to prevent sudden cardiac arrest in youth athletes by Screen, Save, Educate
Project Description
17 children die every day in America from hidden cardiac conditions. Recent National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) stats show 41% of deaths in high school and college athletes are cardiac related. This makes it the #1 killer.
We don't want to be part of that statistic, so we are doing something exciting to prevent it.

Our students and teachers and staff, parents and visitors to our school for events, and their immediate and extended families who would be impacted by their loss.
