bUneke Magazine Issue 20
Issue 20 is a quarterly, digital magazine with a reach of more than 400,000. We print copies on demand and have an audio version as well.
bUneke is pronounced like "be unique" and since 2018, bUneke has promoted 1,400 nonprofit organizations, artists, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, writers, photographers, film makers, charitable businesses and individuals who want to make our world better. We do this by spreading positivity through professional storytelling in bUneke Magazine, bUneke Brevard,bUneke Radio, and award-winning films created through bUneke Productions.
We touch the world through digital distribution of the magazine, which reached 1.6 million in 2020, as well as through 1,500 complimentary printed copies of bUneke Brevard, distributed throughout Brevard County. Our volunteer writers and photographers hail from around the globe. Several individuals host 12 podcasts on bUneke Radio, which is downloaded from 40 applications in 80 countries. bUneke Productions’ crowning jewel is Forgotten Enchantress, the documentary about the historic home in Melbourne, Florida. This film was the prime instrument that helped a floundering nonprofit raise $250,000 during the height of the 2020 Covid shutdown. In 2022, bUneke Productions earned Best Documentary for the five-minute film Daisy, which was created in 36 hours.
bUneke provides specialized, curated content to help other nonprofits share their missions and earn their rightful places in the spotlight, while mentoring and training college and university students, working with young children, and providing volunteer opportunities for all ages. We've worked with eager world changers from nine to 90.
