We deal with life and death every day. The need is great - the time is now!
The purpose of Overlook Ministries is to deliver the transforming power of the Word of God to those people who the world often does not see, the overlooked; those who are not able to give back at this time in their life. With God’s help, Overlook Ministries strives to bring them to a place where they are equipped to live a balanced, productive life. We minister effectively to the homeless and those suffering life-controlling behaviors.
In addition to teaching and ministry time, volunteers prepare a hot meal and provide practical services, such as haircuts, socks and other personal items. We meet every Saturday at 2pm.
Our Goal The goal of Overlook Bible Training Center is to help men help themselves and to have a living relationship with God knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior.
This is achieved by embracing the following visions:
Redeem: Redeem one’s life from destruction
Rescue: Provide sanctuary and refuge for those in crisis
Restore: Restore, disciple and equip so that they can live a balanced and productive life that’s free from life-controlling behavior
